Designed to be used on a treatment bed, the professional unit will cover a patient's entire back and is ideal for chiropractic or therapy practitioners. Of the 6 elements in this unit 2 are positioned to treat the neck and shoulders, a larger element covers the spine and 3 smaller pads curve comfortably around the hips.
Developed for treatment table use, this 38” x 18”
model covers the entire spine area and utilizes 6
infrared inserts in total.
What does Infrared Therapy Do?
Through the absorption of infrared thermal energy, tissues are safely and gently heated increasing blood flow within the treated area. Your body’s natural response to this increased temperature is to try to maintain a condition of homeostasis—a balanced environment or state of equilibrium throughout the body. To do this, your body responds with a rapid increase in blood flow to the area.
Your THERMOTEX Infrared pad is easy to use.
It is important to know that the infrared energy radiates only from one side of your pad. Place
the hard side of your THERMOTEX element towards your body. The padded side does not heat.
The THERMOTEX Pain Relief System uses a multi-position switch. You will want to start your
treatment on the high setting for the first 15 minutes and then switch to low for the duration of
the treatment. If you find it too warm, you can put a towel between your body and the
THERMOTEX pad. The infrared heat penetrations will still be effective. All prolonged use must
be on the low setting.
It is important that you use your THERMOTEX for a minimum of 30 - 45 minutes (longer if
desired) on each area that you are treating. The first two or three weeks we recommend you
use your THERMOTEX twice per day (for chronic pain you may need to use it three to four
times per day). After that, and when you have experienced pain relief, you may not need to
use it as often. We recommend daily use. This is particularly important for chronic and inflammatory
pain. Regular use of THERMOTEX will significantly reduce levels of inflammation and lactic acid
IT IS IMPORTANT TO UNDERSTAND that the heat you feel will not always be the same. This is
due to your body’s individual and varying reaction. After you have been using your THERMOTEX
regularly, you may find that it does not feel as warm as it did earlier. There is NOTHING WRONG
with your THERMOTEX. This is what you should expect. It is a good sign - it means it is working
well and you will be experiencing relief of pain. It is also normal to feel greater heat on one side
of your knee than the other, or on one place on your back than the other, etc.
Equine studies have shown therapy applications with thermal energy penetration of up to 2.36 inches. Heating pads, which provide topical conductive heat, only penetrate 2 - 3 mm. Depth of penetration substantiated in a study done by Dr. Ronald J. Riegel entitled "Thermotex Therapy System Infrared heating pad versus conventional heating pad and hot towel."
Thermotex™ infrared operates at temperatures of between 40C - 45C, versus heating pads that are often in excess of 55C. Our products will not burn or dehydrate the skin.
Pain medication therapy
Most pain medications simply disrupt the body's pain signals to the brain, masking the body's ability to recognize pain, rather than removing the source or cause of that pain. The effectiveness of Thermotex™ in reducing and controlling your pain will in most cases allow you to reduce your pain medication intake. Thermotex™ provides effective, non-invasive, non-addictive pain relief with no side effects.

"I have a customer who was suffering from arthritic pain. She came to see me for relief and I told her about the Thermotex™ infrared therapy system. She was a little reluctant when she heard about the cost, but I assured her that she could purchase it and use it for 30 days, if she wasn't completely happy with the results she could return it and get her money back. She purchased the pad on a Thursday, rushed back in on Tuesday to tell me how happy she was, not only with the results of pain relief, but the fact that she reduced her medicine intake, thereby reducing the side effects involved with medication and also reducing her cost. She was a very happy customer!"
"Believe me, I've taken a lot of hits in my time, and had more than my share of injuries to show for it. Unfortunately for many athletes, this can mean that the rest of their life is spent in pain and debilitation. Since I've been using my Thermotex™, I can ski and golf without pain without being dependent on constant therapy or medication of any kind. You owe it to yourself and those close to you to try this amazing product!"
"I had an opportunity to use a Thermotex™ device after I broke my leg. The doctor expected my cast to be on for 8 weeks and after 4 weeks I went for a check up. He did the X-rays and found that the cast could come off and that it had healed much quicker than he had anticipated. The Thermotex™ device virtually took the pain away after using it everyday on my leg. Works great!"
"After retiring from eight years and 234 games of hard hitting professional hockey, even climbing the stairs had been out of the question, let alone walking the golfcourse! Now that I have Thermotex™, I can enjoy all the activities I expected to take part in during my retirement. I'm pain free without medication, and enthusiastically recommend Thermotex™ to everyone I know who has occasional or chronic pain."
"Thermotex™ provides a deep penetrating heat that leads to a decrease in muscle spasms and an increase in mobility for my patients."
